Teacher Training Aprenticeship Program with Bodhi Tree Learning Center
This is a partial home-study and partial in-class course. How long it takes will depend on the prior experience of the student as well as the amount of time you can allow for your studies. Those with no prior experience in Thai massage can expect to spend at least one year to two years in completion.
Course Overview
- 300 in-class training hours ~ See below.
- 500 logged practice hours of Thai Massage
- Client project
You will choose three clients as case studies utilizing Thai Massage therapy for 10-12 sessions each. You will document SOAP notes recording their original complaints and dysfunctions, describe your treatment plan, and reason to support your planned protocol. Lastly provide a summary of your treatment and effectiveness using Thai Massage therapy.
- Cultural project
A central part of preparation for the exam is the cultural project you must present within one of Bodhi Tree’s classes. The cultural project is an opportunity for you to explore a new dimension of Thai culture. This project does not need to relate to Thai medicine but to encourage you to expand your knowledge of Thailand. This is also an opportunity to demonstrate your public speaking style.
