Welcome to courses with Bodhi Tree Learning Center!

Taking Your First Thai Massage Course...

Thai massage is a healing art equally balancing intentional energetic bodywork and physical manipulations of both the giver and receiver.  With this specific bodywork being performed on the floor and your client clothed, you will be more open for movement and breathe than you have experienced with traditional table massage.  Unlike our Western therapies, Thai massage primarily implements positions of kneeling, squatting, and kneeling warriors which demands full attention of your body to execute properly without injury.  On a positive note, this removes stress from wrists and hands.  If you are unsure about your capacity to perform a Thai massage, it is suggested that you engage in two to three gentle yoga classes in one day or try our Introduction to Thai Massage Course.  This is not meant to deter students from participation in learning but really to prepare their bodies for the dynamics of each Thai massage class.  You are encouraged to contact Laura at bodhitreeinfo@gmail.com if you have any concerns or questions about your ability to take a class.  Please notify us if you do have any physical limitations or if you are pregnant, so that we may provide you with the best environment to learn.

Payment Policy:  Once The Bodhi Tree Learning Center has received your completed registration form and course deposit ($100), a space in the chosen class will be reserved for you.  You will be contacted by email or phone to confirm your request.  Full balance is due 30 days prior to start of class.  Deposits ($100) are non-refundable and non-transferable.  With courses taught over two consecutive weekends, the student must be able to attend both to register for that class.  By making a deposit or full payment, you are acknowledging you as the student understand this policy.  For more information or sending payment through the mail, please contact Laura by email at bodhitreeinfo@gmail.com
