Thai Foot Massage

Thai Foot Massage is a relaxing yet invigorating treatment of the feet that was greatly influenced by two of its closest neighbors China and India and their reflexology systems. The result is a blend of Chinese Reflexology, Thai acupressure points and Sen Line work along with wonderfully stimulating and relaxing hand techniques.  This 24 hour course will teach a variety of hands-on techniques to stimulate the natural healing process within the body via Thai Foot Massage. Students also benefit from the instruction of how to use a special Thai Jap Sen stick for specific acupressure to stimulate reflex points on the soles of the feet and save their hands and thumbs. Proper instruction on body mechanics, client safety, and professional ethics will be taught.  Students will be encouraged to participate daily in traditional Thai ceremonies as they are recognized in Thailand to further cultivate and understand this ancient modality.

Thai Cupping and Scraping

Thai Cupping and Scraping are unique healing techniques rooted in many indigenous medical practices from the Western Greco-Roman eras to the far Southeast Asian regions.  The practice of “cupping” is designed to create suction to release toxins and stagnation from the body.  Scraping is another ancient method to produce similar results.  Each has its own purpose and benefits to the client by manipulating fascia, muscle, skin, and energetic pathways to encourage healing.  This 8 hour course will teach the student the proper application of cupping and scraping through a Thai healing perspective.  This course is will have intense lecture  for specific use for cupping and scraping to maintain the clients safety and well-being.  Students will be encouraged to participate daily in traditional Thai ceremonies as they are recognized in Thailand to further cultivate and understand this ancient modality.
