The Bodhi Tree Learning Center is dedicated to the enlightenment and awareness of healing through the ancient art of Traditional Thai Medicine. Our educational center upholds the Northern Shivagokomarpaj Lineage and teaches Thai massage classes enriched with Thai history, theory, culture, and spirituality as it relates to its traditional and indigenous medicine. Our mission is to offer an authentic and extensive education preserving the three disciplines of Thai Medicine: massage, herbalism, and spiritual tradition.
The Bodhi Tree Learning Center places roots in Richmond, Virginia. We teach in an environment of compassion and safety welcoming students to gain an appreciation for this ancient healing practice. We lead and inspire with a commitment to provide the highest quality of education in Traditional Thai Massage and Herbal Medicine.
The Bodhi Tree Learning Center offers classes in Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced Courses of Traditional Thai Massage, Thai Herbal Massage, and also Holistic Thai Face Therapy, the first of this kind to be offered in the United States. Classes accept no more than 14 students to maximize the teacher student relationship. The Bodhi Tree Learning Center also offers free internships programs welcoming students to participate in any future class they have completed. Although Traditional Thai Medicine is rooted in Buddhism, classes are open to all spiritual practices and not conditioned to one specific religion or practice. The Bodhi Tree Learning Center's philosophy centers around metta or loving kindness as a universal intent in guiding all students to reach their highest potential within themselves and others.
